My name is Clive Brooks.

Since I was a teenager (and I'm in my late 40's now), I've lived the business entrepreneur lifestyle and made a really good living out it. And I've risen to the top of my profession through 25 years of innovation, hard work and dedication.

Music has been my principal entreprenurial "thing". I founded a huge franchised network of rockschools in the UK and wound up winning the TOP UK award in that fiercly competiive entrepreneurial industry: The HSBC Award for Enterprise.

Let me tell you briefly about how it worked out. Way back, when I was in my teens, I discovered that I could make better money teaching people to play music than I could in a job - or in a band for that matter! I'd played in bands, toured, recorded and it was fun, but the money was sporadic at best and often non-existent. Suddenly I'd got the "entrepreneurial bug"... I'd become a young entrepreneur.

Let's be quite clear here, I WASN'T a virtuoso, just a regular guitar player who could also knock out a rhythm on the drums and dabble with keyboards, but then, almost by accident, through some of my early attempts at teaching, I stumbled on the secrets of giving customers EXACTLY what they wanted - and even more besides, and they kept coming back for more.

In my first year, 1981, I found myself with over 60 students and was making $3200 every month. I was making better money than ANY of my friends in bands or with regular jobs, and had already created an amazing lifestyle where I could do what I wanted and earn my living from music. It just grew from there.

Back in 1981 $3200 was a HUGE income for a 20 year-old kid. I was the envy of my whole circle of friends. I was hooked. Being a young entrepreneur was definitely the lifestyle for me.

Anyway, fast-forward... My huge range of hard-won systems, honed, tried, tested and perfected over the last 25 YEARS through the delivery of over 104,000 lessons are what net my franchised rockschools (and I have over 60 of them these days) over $1.7 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR and still counting! It's astonishing - a profit powerhouse. A dream come true.
